Della Terra Mountain Chateau | Estes Park, CO

Phillip + Kelsey are from Alabama, which is where my husband and I moved from 5 years ago! One of Kelsey’s southern friends had booked me to shoot their Breckenridge elopement (linked here!) last February, which is how Kelsey then found me as her photographer! I always love unique connections and getting to photograph others from my home state :)

Phillip + Kelsey got married at Della Terra, which is literally right outside the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Talk about gorgeous! Kelsey wanted as many photos as she could get, so we took advantage and explored RMNP not once, but twice on their wedding day. There is no lack of beautiful backdrops in Colorado! Not only was the setting breathtaking, but so were the people. Phillip + Kelsey are just adorable together, and their family and friends were so fun and laidback, making my job extra easy! In addition, Kelsey’s son was a huge part of the day, making for some really sweet and tearful moments. I loved how Kelsey allowed herself to feel every emotion of the day, from belly laughs to tears, not worrying about her makeup or hair or dress getting dirty. It brings my photographer’s heart so much joy to be able to photograph someone living in the moment and enjoying every single second of their wedding day.
