Photography that tells vibrant and authentic stories of love and elation.

Vibrant. Because color is beautiful and sun flares are my favorite (like for real - gimme all the golden light!). You won’t find muted tones around here because the world is full of life and color (in people and in nature!) and that is what I strive to capture!

Authentic. Because sometimes you gotta belly laugh or simply let the tears fall. Maybe you are seeing your spouse for the first time on your wedding day, celebrating saying “yes!” to forever with your best friend, or gathering together with your family to cherish a specific season of life… These are moments of vulnerability and authenticity and it is humbling to be let into them with you. My approach to photography is less posing and more documenting. Yes, I will give prompts or maybe direct you to the best light, but my real goal is to photograph the real and authentic you - including the tears and the laugh lines.

Serving Denver, Colorado + Birmingham, Alabama

1. I shot my first wedding when I was 17!

2. I went to college at Belmont University in Nashville, TN and majored in Social Entrepreneurship. I also have a Master’s in Social Work from Samford University in Birmingham, AL. I am currently a licensed social worker in Denver, CO and I love what I do! It’s a dream of mine to intertwine social work and photography and you can read more about that here.

3. I am a big reader! My favorite author is Fredrick Backman and I also love a good thriller, rom-com, or memoir.

4. I love to travel and have been to over 9 countries, including Ukraine, Taiwan, Greece, Italy, Haiti, and Ecuador.

5. I got married in January of 2019 to my very best friend. My husband and I met back in high school youth group and stayed friends throughout college and graduate school. He proposed to me while we were on a trip visiting some of Canada’s best national parks!

6. Speaking of national parks, it’s mine and my husband’s goal to visit all 63 U.S. National Parks. I absolutely love hiking and the outdoors. In the summer, you can expect to find us on the trails!

7. I have 9 siblings, 7 of whom are adopted. God has taught me so much through my family. (If you are a newly adoptive family, you’re in the right place! I offer discounted family sessions just for you!)

8. I am an enneagram 9 and it is a little too spot on.
