Where to even begin?! This wedding was nothing but MAGIC!

What Michael + Emma Kate imagined to be a cool, fall day in Vail turned into a literal snowstorm in October (oh and did I mention their wedding was outside?!)! As I was watching the weather the night before and seeing that is was predicted to to be a pretty big snowstorm, I decided to book an airbnb that night so as no risk any crazy driving conditions the next day. I convinced my husband to come with me so we quickly packed and headed to Vail at 9pm. And I am so glad we did because there was so. much. snow!

Michael, Emma Kate, and all their family and friends took the unexpected weather with such ease and grace, making the snow something to go out and have fun in - not stress and worry about :) Michael + Emma Kate’s calm and easy going attitude was so refreshing and truly palpable. I loved seeing how present they were with each other throughout the day, and also felt blessed by their kindness and hospitality towards me as their photographer. I really can’t stress enough how fun, calm, and full of love this day was!
